Growing together.
Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.
The goal of Ridgecrest Students is to prepare students to live for the glory of God and equip them to thrive in this dark world. We also seek to equip parents to lead their families to the best of their abilities, and support them in their journeys.
Check out all the great opportunities.
We have several weekly programming events students can connect with. We also have special event that happen various times through out the year.
Sunday Morning Equipping
Each Sunday Morning our students have the opportunity to either Serve with our Nursery, Preschool, Children, AV/Tech, or Greeter teams; or attend an Equipping Class during the 9am hour. Our current Equipping Class is Faith and Formation, led by Logan and Maegan Ellzey (Located in The Chapel).
Wednesday Worship
6:00PM-7:30PM. Students come together to worship, fellowship, and hear biblical teaching in their own context, followed by small groups. Students are split up according to gender and grade, and each small group has a leader that will disciple and lead them through questions.
Together Weekend
This is a yearly weekend event in the Spring where numerous churches in the community come together to worship and experience the Church in action. Students gather to worship God and hear from a speaker, then spend the weekend in host homes. There are rec games and service projects during the day.
Rec Events
Students have the opportunity to participate in different recreational activities. Some are leagues (softball, basketball) while some are just Saturdays in the gym. This allows students to fellowship and reach out to students in the community, hopefully sharing their faith with them as they play.
Retreats
Each year our students will take a weekend during the school year to retreat to Lake Forest Ranch (Macon, MS) for a weekend of fun, fellowship, recentering, and reconnection to their faith. This is one of the most popular events of the year for our students.
