Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.
The goal of Ridgecrest Students is to prepare students to live for the glory of God and equip them to thrive in this dark world. We also seek to equip parents to lead their families to the best of their abilities, and support them in their journeys.
Check out all the great opportunities.
We have several weekly programming events students can connect with. We also have special event that happen various times through out the year.
Sunday Morning Life Groups
9AM-10:15AM. This is a time where our students spend time in small groups divided by grade, being taught by a group of adults who are committed to loving students and teaching the Word of God.
6PM-7PM. Students take a deeper dive into what it means to be a Christian in today’s world, talking about prayer, bible study, and other questions on Christian life.
Wednesday Night Worship
6PM-7:15PM. Students come together to worship, fellowship, and hear biblical teaching in their own context. The night starts with a large group game, followed by worship, and ends with preaching from the Student Pastor.
This is a yearly weekend event on MLK Weekend. Students gather to worship God and hear from a speaker, then spend the weekend in host homes. There are rec games and service projects during the day.
Students have the opportunity to participate in different recreational activities. Some are leagues (softball, basketball) while some are tournaments (Turkey Bowl Flag Football). This allows students to fellowship and reach out to students in the community, hopefully sharing their faith with them as they play.
The major trip that the students take every year is to Beautiful Feet Ministries in Fort Worth, Texas. BFM is a homeless ministry that has partnered with Ridgecrest for over 10 years. It is usually scheduled for July. There are also numerous local ministries that the students participate in, such as Word of Christ church and MadCAAP. These provide opportunities for students to serve throughout the year in their own backyards.
