Ministry

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45

In our efforts to Serve Others, Ridgecrest offers many on-campus ministries for individuals to get involved. Through these ministries, you have the opportunity to use your gifts to impact your family, the church, and our community. Feel free to browse our current ministries and get involved in one that God leads you to.

On Campus Ministry

Cornerstone Women on Mission

This group of women supports and prays for missionaries serving in our community, state, North America, and the world. They participate in and promote International Missions (Lottie Moon Offering), North American Missions (Annie Armstrong Offering), and State Missions (Margaret Lackey Offering). Church-wide mission projects are shared throughout the year.  All Ridgecrest women are encouraged to get involved.

ESL

ESL Classes meet on Wednesdays at 6:00pm on the 3rd Floor during the school year. These classes are offered at Ridgecrest to anyone in the community who speaks English as their Second Language (ESL). The classes will help them learn the English language and culture, and how to do tasks that may be new to them if they are new to the United States.  To be part of this compassionate ministry, contact Paula Smith.

Home Outreach Ministry

Our mission is to be Christ’s hands and feet in our community, to reassure those in our midst who may feel lonely or discouraged through ill health or who are no longer able to participate in regular worship services. To be part of this compassionate ministry, contact Jerry Stone.

Helping Hands

This ministry assists widows, single ladies, persons with physical disabilities, and the elderly in our congregation with minor home repairs. This ministry is carried out solely by volunteers who want to show God’s love by using their talents and time. To be part of this compassionate ministry, contact Kathy Keeton.
