The Stewardship Ministry Assistant will help facilitate the financial activities of Ridgecrest through processing of payroll, payables, and other financial matters of the Church. This position requires a motivated individual who is highly organized with a keen attention to detail, the ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and anticipate needs.

Job Description
Job Requirements
- Process payroll: processing of timecards, input and processing of payroll for salaried and hourly employees, remittance of payroll taxes, filing payroll tax returns, and similar duties.
- Accounts payable: coding, processing, paying, and filing of invoices.
- Posting of deposits and entry for contributions, mailing contribution statements, and maintaining records of giving.
- Place weekly orders for office supplies.
- Other duties as needed and assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree and at least seven years of experience in payroll and accounts payable in a church or business environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and at least five 5 years of experience in payroll and accounts payable in a church or business environment.
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and functions at once
- Planning, organizing, and prioritizing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with how a church functions
- Service orientation and teamwork
