BUILDING STRONG FAMILIES PARENTING CONFERENCE
Mark your calendars! Ridgecrest is excited to host David Thomas, LMSW, and Sissy Goff, MEd, LPC-MHSP, of Raising Boys & Girls for our Building Strong Families Parenting Conference on April 28-29, 2023.

Who are David and Sissy?
David Thomas and Sissy Goff have been counseling kids and families for many years at Daystar Counseling Ministries in Nashville. They are honored to take what they learn from those wise kids and families and bring it to us by way of the books they write, their podcast, and the conferences they share with parents and educators across the country and beyond. More info on Raising Boys and Girls can be found at www.raisingboysandgirls.com.

Who should attend?
Parents (and grandparents) of children of all ages – from infants to teens
Caregivers and parental figures who want to parent out of love instead of fear
Educators, spiritual leaders and anyone who cares about children, teens, and families

Who can earn CEUs or contact hours for attending?
Educators (K-12th grade) may earn CEUs through the Mississippi College Office of Continuing Education, an accredited CEU granting agency recognized by the Mississippi Department of Education and MAIS (Midsouth Association of Independent Schools). CEU request forms will be available at the conference. If you have questions about whether you are eligible to earn CEUs, contact Stacie Albritton ([email protected]) for more information.

Early childhood educators (infant/toddler, preschool, and after school teachers as well as other staff of licensed childcare facilities) may earn up to 7.5 MSDH-approved contact hours for attending the conference.
