Caring Hands

This is a free clinic that is open for one night each month. Each night there is a gospel presentation that is presented.  It is serviced by volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists and staff that see around 80 patients a night at Pine Lake Gluckstadt Church and is supported by that church as well as Ridgecrest and other area churches. The patients are screened and also receive free prescriptions. The end goal is not only medical and dental services but legal, food, clothing, etc. Contact Brian Wright at

The Christmas Village

Michael & Brenda Van Velkinburgh, members of Ridgecrest, started this ministry in 2004 to provide a ministry to women who fear that their only choice is abortion or adoption when they are faced with an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. The Christmas Village provides emotional, financial, medical and spiritual support so that women can have a feasible alternative to abortion. Word of Christ Ministry

Word of Christ Ministry is located in west Jackson, and their pastor is Devon Adams. Their mission is to reach people who are un-churched and outcast in that area so that they may become children of God. They also equip believers with the knowledge of who Jesus is and who they are in Him so that they may walk in love and live in victory. Ridgecrest helped them renovate a building in which to worship and now supports their ministry through street evangelism, tent revival meetings, women’s conferences, Ridgecrest Christmas Angel Tree and Christmas food distribution.  Contact Bro Brian Wright at   or 601.853.1090 x 31 for more information.
